Unprofessional and Misleading Assessment Process We attended a reassessment to determine my son’s readiness for Year 1 instead of FS2 following the new cut-off date. After waiting over a month for this appointment, the experience was extremely disappointing and unprofessional. I attended with both of my children—one assessed for FS1 and the other for Year 1—expecting a structured and meaningful evaluation. Unfortunately, what took place cannot be considered a proper assessment. • Inappropriate assessment environment: The reassessment was conducted in a small room with approximately 10–15 children and parents present at the same time, including children being assessed for FS1, FS2, and Year 1 simultaneously. The environment was noisy and distracting (some kids playing, people in and out of the room), making it impossible for children to focus or for assessors to accurately hear and evaluate them. A genuine assessment should take place in a quiet, structured setting, which did not happen and raises serious concerns about the credibility of the process. • Incorrect expectations shared: We were told that a child entering Year 1 must already be able to read and write full sentences, which does not align with the British Curriculum Early Years Framework. Year 1 readiness focuses on foundational literacy and developmental skills, not full sentence reading and writing at FS2 level. • Lack of transparency: It was evident that there were no Year 1 places available, making the reassessment feel like a formality rather than a genuine evaluation. Honest communication from the start would have saved families time and inconvenience. For context, my son has been attending a well-established and reputable nursery for the past two years and is familiar with phonics, shapes, numbers, and writing his name. This further highlights how poorly the reassessment was handled. Overall, this experience demonstrated a lack of organization, transparency, and professionalism. Families deserve honest communication and assessments that are conducted meaningfully—especially when decisions directly impact a child’s education.

My experience at Noya British School was very positive. The staff were highly organised and genuinely welcoming, which created a warm and professional atmosphere from the moment I arrived. I also noticed a great improvement in the administration and overall structure of the interview setup. Everything was clearly communicated, efficiently coordinated, and conducted with professionalism. It reflected a school culture that values excellence, respect, and smooth processes for both staff and visitors.

I recently had the pleasure of interviewing at Noya British School and was thoroughly impressed by the impeccable organisation and warm hospitality throughout the process. My interview was conducted by the gracious Ms.Harvey and another kind professional staff. The administration and the entire team were exceptionally supportive and attentive, ensuring a smooth and pleasant experience. I am eager to potentially become part of such a distinguished institution and contribute to its continued success. I look forward to the possibility of joining the Noya School family.

The oral interview at Noya British School, part of Aldar Education, was a positive and enriching experience. The interviewers were welcoming and professional, and their questions were insightful and well-focused, particularly regarding the Arabic Department. I felt that my responses were successful and clearly reflected my experience and passion for the field. I have a strong desire to join the school in order to gain new experience, contribute my expertise to the development of the Arabic Department, further refine my existing skills, and acquire new ones that support my professional growth and align with the school’s vision and educational mission.

Subject: Concern Regarding School Holiday Dates Dear School Administration, I am writing to express my strong, concern regarding the decision to set school holiday dates that differ from the officially established dates observed nationwide. It is difficult to understand the rationale behind deviating from the national calendar, especially given that these dates are generally designed to ensure consistency for families, align with broader educational planning, and allow parents to make arrangements with reasonable certainty. Introducing different holiday periods creates unnecessary complications for families who plan travel, childcare, and work commitments based on the nationally announced schedule. I would appreciate a clear explanation of the reasons behind this decision and how the school has assessed its impact on students and families. Consistency with the national calendar is not merely a formality; it is a practical necessity for many households. I hope the school will reconsider this approach or, at the very least, provide a transparent and well-reasoned justification for the deviation. Lack of the administration's contact info, and strange limitation of 1024 symbols on the official site are forced me to post it there to be accessible for you. Yours sincerely, Andrey

My five-year-old attends Noya, and I couldn’t be happier about our experience with this new British school. As soon as we entered the campus, it was clear that Noya was built with quality in mind. State-of-the-art facilities are planned with care to address all aspects of children's learning and development. From adequately equipped classrooms and interactive learning instruments to bright play areas and an inspiring library-everything here is geared towards benefiting young minds. Truly worthy of a special mention is Ms. Gunn, my child’s class teacher, who has fast gained everyone’s admiration. Her efficiency, competence, and ability to have rapport with the kids are commendable. It is soothing to see how the children love and, everyday a visible impact on their overall growth and confidence comes in. Every day my child comes home bubbling with tales of interesting lessons, creative activities, and new friendships. The school also prides itself on a holistic approach toward development, with a full curriculum covering academics, sports, arts, and character formation. Another draw of Noya is the community it creates for the students, parents, and staff. All communications run very smoothly, and the parents are included and kept well informed at every instance. As a new school, they have exceeded expectations, and I am confident this is just the beginning of a wonderful road for our children. I would strongly suggest Noya to any parent wishing for perfect British schooling for their child!
