We got last minute henna on the way to airport. The work is spectacular! (Still dark days later. I didn’t even keep it on until fully dry and have washed my hands so much!) We asked for natural henna and she mixed it herself. She made the effort to add extra layers and thickness so the results would be dark and lasting. I’ve been to many other henna places and in Abu Dhabi, this is my only choice from now on. Thank you Selma

Worst experience ever. Do not recommend of even trying!! Yesterday I went for manicure and pedicure gelish and they took 4 hours of my day just to leave without any manicure and a half decent pedicure. The lady that was doing my nails painted& removed the color of my hands more than 3 times my hands are burned and damaged at the end I just told her to remove the color. Then another customer at the salon screamed to my face for absolutely no reason the staff did NOTHING about it. Not even one apology or tried to talk to that lady. Worst experience of my life I never felt so miserable in my 5 years of living in the uae. And besides all that happened I still had to pay for the "services". Don’t even lose your time.

I’ve been going to Nereda at Unidas, and I honestly can’t recommend her enough. I usually wear extensions, but with her consistent, gentle care thoughtful washing, conditioning, scalp massages, and her incredible Dominican blowouts I was able to remove my extensions completely. I was overwhelmed by how healthy my natural hair is. Nereda truly takes her time and treats your hair with respect. You don’t feel rushed, and you can tell she genuinely cares about long-term hair health, not just styling. For the first time in a long time, I’m happy and confident with my own hair. Thank you, Nereda.

After seeing the negative post about Unidas and Fatima I thought I’d share a few pictures…. As they say "One picture is worth a thousand words"… Fatima is a highly skilled and professional hairdresser, and the salon is reasonably priced in all its services. My hair was breaking and dry before she took it hand 2 years ago. I obviously cannot judge what happened with that lady but from personal experience I can highly recommend Fatima’s services.

Lo mejor de todo que ha hecho que mi pelo recupere fuerza, brillo y forma…. Soy una clienta feliz y seguiré yendo para mantener mi pelo como en el video!! Estoy encantada con mi balayage gracias a Yngrid !! Tanto el color como la técnica son perfectos. Sin duda, no podría a ver sido mejor! El trato ha sido estupendo por parte del equipo, muy atentas con el cliente en todo momento y las instalaciones muy bonitas y limpias.

I gave Unidas the benefit of the doubt too many times. Just so often I was not quite happy leaving. I tried lots of different services, including waxing, gel and regular nails, massage, and balayage. The massage was good. The wax and nails were ok. (Just ok) But the balayage was awful. I had to wait 50 minutes after my appointment was scheduled until the colourist was ready. When I got it done first it did not look anything like the photo I showed the colourist. The shade was a lot lighter. Also, it was supposed to be balayage, but it practically went to my roots. And there was a definite line where the blonde colour stopped and my natural colour started. My colleague commented that I needed to have my roots done, the day after having this done. I also asked for layers, but the cut is terrible. Also, it’s far longer in the front than the back and longer on the right than the left, for some reason. I sent the salon a photo of my hair and asked if they could do anything. They said they would fix it free of charge. I went back and had to wait 35 minutes (again) The colourist added a shade similar to my natural brown to blend it better, but it is very inconsistent and has random brown lines. Afterwards, she started to blowdry it and I asked if it would cost extra, but she assured me it would be free, as I was coming back to fix the colour they would throw that in too. When I tried to leave the salon the woman at the desk said I needed to pay. Of course I told her they were fixing my colour so it would be free, but she said the blowdry was extra. I was fuming. How could two people tell me two different things? I would not have had the blowdry otherwise. I just cannot fathom how this salon has so many good reviews. Probably because it’s not exactly expensive, that is the only reason I went back more than once. However, this awful experience was the last straw. I paid 900 dirham for my hair to look this bad and get comments about it from work colleagues. Not happy.
