The Bhukkad Cafe - City Centre Al Zahia

The Big Bhukkad Iftar ‼️ The Unlimited Delicious menu is a true culinary experience from the street food of Mohammed Ali Road in Mumbai , which is known for its authentic Indian cuisine delights. I especially loved their Haleem/ Khichda , Chicken Sanju Baba , tikka trio veg and non veg and their biryanis and desserts and drinks as well. Everything on the menu is served unlimited at your table. The service at the restaurant was excellent. You can experience the same at @thebhukkadcafe outlets throughout the month from iftar time onwards . I especially love the ambience of this restaurant and their desi decor is superb.

I recently visited this café and overall the food was okay. We ordered Paneer Lababdar and naan, and both were quite tasty and enjoyable. However, I was disappointed with the pani puri. It felt like the puris were the ready-made packaged ones — they didn’t taste fresh and were quite large. The flavored water also didn’t have much taste; one was overly fruity and the others lacked flavor completely. I honestly did not enjoy the pani puri at all, and it was quite expensive at 28 AED for one plate. In general, I found the pricing to be on the higher side compared to other well-known restaurants. For example, Paneer was 40 AED, tea was 8 AED each, and naan was 10 AED. The food is good, but the cost doesn’t really match the value, especially for items like pani puri. The service and atmosphere is good.

I had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. The service was extremely poor – the waiter only took our first order and never came back during the entire meal to check if we needed anything. I wanted to order a drink but kept waiting for someone to notice, yet no one came to assist. As for the food, it was very ordinary and did not reflect authentic Indian flavors at all. The Chicken Tikka Masala was served with thigh pieces in yellow and red cubes, which was unusual and did not taste authentic. The Lamb Biryani lacked the richness of spices – it was more about colors and presentation rather than flavor. At the end, the staff mentioned they were short on workers, but this is not an acceptable excuse for a restaurant located inside a mall. Overall, both the service and food were far below expectations.

Bad food, bad customer service!! The food was cold , we ordered for tea but was not served. We ordered veg triple schezwan rice and chicken triple schezwan rice. Both were tasteless. The staff was serving veg food as non veg food. We asked for schezwan sauce 4 times and then they get a spoonful of sauce. Really bad experience… not visiting this place again.

I had a very nice experience as i tried the food in this restaurant for the first time yesterday and i was in love with their food and quality, plus the service was so good.

I spent a short evening at The Bhukkad Cafe located inside City Centre Al Zahia. I ordered the Masala Chai and Chicken Tikka Burger. The food was flavorful, especially the Butter Chicken Burger, which was a pleasant surprise in terms of taste. However, the service experience could be improved. The staff were not very welcoming or pleasant. A simple smile and friendly greeting can go a long way in making customers feel comfortable and valued. That said, the ambience is truly commendable, with vibrant Indian artwork and a cozy atmosphere that adds to the overall dining experience.
