Sunset Beach Lounge

The cooled pool and beach area are incredible. The staff are welcoming and helpful. There is a plentiful supply of fresh towels and cold water. The sushi and the bao are to die for. It's part of Waldord Astoria hotel so you have an incredible impression as you head for the Sunset Beach Lounge. You can buy a day pass to stay at the lounge from 10:00-18:00 and this offers incredible value for money for a luxury experience. The pass includes a credit for food and offers more value during the week. To go to RAK and not visit the Sunset Beach Lounge would be a terrible mistake.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at sunset beach lounge and I’m happy to say that both the food and service exceeded my expectations. The menu at sunset beach offers a wide variety of options, with something to satisfy nearly every palate. I started with the langustino salad which was perfectly seasoned and presented. The flavors were bold but balanced, showcasing the quality of the ingredients. For the main course, I opted for the lamb chops which was nothing short of spectacular. The service was equally impressive by Gulshan and saad . We would definitely come back .

I attended a barbecue event at Sunset Beach Lounge. I do not have the manager’s full details, but he was outstanding and very attentive, even bringing items from the buffet without us asking. The staff were also very good, but I mostly interacted with the manager. According to one of the staff, his name was Sushil Thakur and he was an assistant manager. He told us about a great deal with an endless supply of burgers and seafood by the pool.

Our host Gulshan was the best and special mention for chef Sankalp for amazing food We will look forward to coming back
