I'm really tired of places where making money seems more important than actually helping patients. At this clinic, if you try to book an appointment, you're required to first see a psychiatrist for a general evaluation and behavioral assessments before you're even allowed to meet the specialist you originally requested, regardless of whether you already have a diagnosis from another institution. I know this is a common and 'convenient' practice in healthcare: every clinic wants to repeat ALL the tests. It is like if you're just taking your car in for an oil change and they insist on charging you for a full engine and system service. Very professional and convenient... for their pockets.
