We visited this hospital because Dr. Selma ben Amara (pediatrician) worked here. That’s the only reason. Today, my son has a diarrhea, fever and if he was trying to breathe in, he will cough. I tried to call the clinic phone line several time to book Dr. Selma but nobody answered the phone. It’s said the operator was busy. So, I decided to go to the clinic without appointment. There, the operator didn’t look busy, nobody waiting to be served. I asked for Dr. Selma, unfortunately she’s resigned already. Then, I asked any pediatrician available, he said no pediatrician today (It’s Friday 10.00 morning btw). So, I asked the available GP because previously my son was examined by the GP in this clinic. Sadly, that GP was not there today. He tried to contact the other GP but the GP kept saying I must go to the pediatrician. I tried to explain my son symptoms and I asked him that my son needs the nebulizer to reduce the breath difficulty. But he seems did not care. Again, I told him that he better picked up the phone in first place. So, I don’t need to come to the clinic with a sick boy without getting any help.

خدمة العملاء جداً جداً سيئة وغير متعاونين ….. اتصلت الساعه 10:29 وطلبت يحولوني على الدكتوره بدرية الشحي وخبرتهم ان الموضوع ضروري وقال الشخص المصري الي كلمني من تخلص المريض الي وياها بيتصلون حقي طبعاً محد اتصل رديت اتصلت الساعة 12:26 وكلمتني فلبينيه وخبرتها إني داقه قبل والموضوع ضروري قالت بتخليهم يدقون حقي بس طبعا بعد محد دق ورديت دقيت الساعه 3:14 وطبعا الدكتوره روحت وخبرت الي كلمني أني ابا اشتكي عطني مكان أو رقم عشان ماكان لموضوعي اي اهتمام ونا خبرتهم انه موضوع ضروري والشخص المصري كان يسمع ومايرد علي اخر شي قال تري ثواني وخلاني ف الانتظار بدون مايعطيني مكان عشان اقدم الشكوه

I hereby submit this formal complaint to express my deep dissatisfaction and serious concern regarding the medical care provided to my wife by Dr. Afaf at your clinic. Unfortunately, during multiple visits, the doctor demonstrated unprofessional and inconsistent behavior. We observed that she was frequently distracted and using her mobile phone while examining my wife, which is completely unacceptable and contrary to basic medical professionalism. More critically, Dr. Afaf failed to prescribe blood-thinning medication, despite my wife’s medical condition clearly requiring it. This was later confirmed by several other specialist doctors, who expressed concern and questioned why this medication had not been prescribed. They also emphasized the necessity of administering the medication and conducting regular and careful monitoring of the baby’s growth. Regrettably, no proper medical follow-up or close monitoring of fetal growth was provided throughout the pregnancy. As a result of this deficiency in medical care, my wife was referred to Corniche Hospital, where the medical team requested all ultrasound images and medical reports from the early stages of pregnancy up to the eighth month. When I returned to the clinic to obtain these records, I was asked to pay AED 100 to receive the reports and ultrasound images. This request is unjustified and unacceptable, particularly since the health insurance fully covers pregnancy care, and I have already paid for all consultations and examinations on a regular basis. These medical records are a legal right of the patient, and charging additional fees to obtain them is inappropriate. Overall, the level of medical care provided by Dr. Afaf and the clinic was extremely poor, characterized by a lack of follow-up, weak medical responsibility, and clear administrative mismanagement

If i could give less than one star i would. Dr Meltem Tank is incredibly un capable, un qualified and un empathetic. Telling me and my wife that our early pregnancy is a miscarriage, even recommending a surgeon to remove it until we go to another doctor a week after to find out our pregnancy is alive and well. Imagine taking her horrible advice and her complete incompetence we would lost a completely normal pregnancy.

I honestly didn’t expect such unprofessional service from a hospital of this size. I came here to take my Vitamin D injection, which I had purchased from their own pharmacy. Unfortunately, no one informed me that I was supposed to go to their treatment room to get it administered. Because of that, I had to return another day already inconvenient enough with my work schedule. When I finally managed to go back, I was shocked to be told that their treatment room closes at 8:00 PM. It was only 8:30 PM when I arrived! For a large hospital, not a small clinic, closing that early without any clear notice or communication is simply unacceptable. At the very least, they should inform patients clearly about such policies when medication is purchased. I went to other clinics hoping to take the injection elsewhere, but was told it had to be done at the same facility where it was prescribed so I had no choice but to come back again. This entire situation wasted my time and caused unnecessary stress. It’s disappointing to see such poor coordination and lack of consideration for patients who have jobs, responsibilities, and limited time. A hospital of this standard should do better—starting with proper communication and more professional service hours. I don’t recommend this place to anyone

I had one of the worst experiences at Dr Afaf Clinic. Despite having a scheduled appointment, I was forced to wait almost 3 hours without any proper explanation or apology. There was no organization, no respect for patients’ time, and no effort from the staff to manage the appointments properly. Sitting for hours in the waiting area made me feel ignored and frustrated, especially when you expect professional healthcare service. If a clinic cannot respect appointment times, then they should not give specific booking slots at all. This experience was stressful, exhausting, and completely unacceptable.
