The English College | Dubai

We are delighted to share our experience with The English College. This institution offers exceptional education for our children. The teaching staff is dedicated and competent, providing a stimulating and nurturing environment. The academic programs are rigorous and well-structured, promoting not only academic excellence but also personal development. We also appreciated the numerous extracurricular activities offered, which allowed our children to thrive in various areas. In summary, The English College has exceeded all our expectations, and we highly recommend it to all parents seeking quality education for their children.

Disgusted with school, honestly, I am seriously considering taking legal action. This school overtly discriminated against my special needs son. His special needs aren't so severe he needs a special school and he's currently at a mainstream school with some support. English College could not be bothered to provide special needs support, basically. Please be aware when applying to this school that the "inclusion" department is useless, lazy and will reject children with even mild special needs if they can despite having spaces.

Both of our children attended EC for the majority of their High School years. I can only think of positives throughout the time. Staff and teaching are nothing short of amazing. Leadership off the scale and it feels it’s getting even more refined. Our son just left after completing years 8-13 at the school he loved it. Our daughter left 2 years ago and is doing amazing in Uni in the UK. I put this down to the solid foundation she created at the school with the support of teachers that care and are inspirational. If any teachers that know Cydney and Aaron read this…a huge thank you. Mr Ford you are another level. ❤️

My daughter attends The English College of Dubai, and I couldn’t be happier with our experience. The school provides excellent attention to students, with small class sizes ensuring that each child receives the support they need. The majority of the teachers are British and native English speakers, which creates an immersive language environment that greatly benefits non-native students. One of the standout aspects of the school is its vibrant and engaging atmosphere. There is a strong focus on extracurricular activities, and children are always encouraged to participate in various events. My daughter absolutely loves going to school—she has never once refused to attend, which speaks volumes about the positive learning environment. The school also has a well-organized drop-off and pick-up system, making daily routines smooth and hassle-free for parents. Additionally, the extracurricular programs are diverse and enriching, providing students with opportunities to explore their interests beyond academics. A major highlight for us has been my daughter’s remarkable progress in English. As a non-native speaker, she was placed directly into Year 2 upon joining, and within just six months, she was confidently speaking and reading books at the appropriate level for her grade. This rapid development is a testament to the school’s high-quality teaching and language support. I highly recommend The English College of Dubai to any parent looking for a nurturing, academically strong, and engaging school for their child.

My son Chris has been at EC for 5 years. It's a wonderful, all inclusive school which values respect and integrity. Definitely a great British curriculum school in the heart of Dubai

Our child joined EC three years ago and we have nothing but positive words to say about the school. They have very grounded students, small class sizes, highly engaged teachers and also an excellent leadership team championing the school forward. The school recently revamped their campus and the new facilities are very modern and well designed. I would strongly recommend this school to anyone looking for a good value for money option for a British curriculum school in Dubai. The fact that they've been around since the early 90s is an added bonus and their experience in managing and supporting their students and community is very evident!
