Fitness First - Abu Dhabi Mall

I've been training here for over a year now, and I must say the environment and facilities are top-notch. A special shoutout to PT Chandra—her coaching and support have been exceptional. She consistently brings a positive, "yes" attitude and knows exactly how to approach clients with professionalism and care. Having trained at many gyms across Abu Dhabi since 2007, I can confidently say Chandra stands out. She's the first trainer I've met who takes the time to explain technical details and proper form. Thanks to her guidance, I’ve realized how much I was missing in terms of technique and truly targeting the right muscle groups. Hats off to her!

I visited Fitness First Gym in Abu Dhabi, and overall, it was a decent experience. The gym is spacious, well-equipped, and the large area makes training comfortable. However, I noticed that not all weights were available, and some equipment was missing or not accessible during peak time. Also, the locker area is quite far, and you have to walk through almost the entire gym to reach it, which makes the flow inside the gym a bit inconvenient. In general, the layout and movement inside the gym felt a bit disorganized and could use better planning. Overall, it’s an okay experience, and the gym has potential to be much better with a few simple improvements.

One of the best gyms in Abu Dhabi for both beginners and fitness enthusiasts. The location inside Abu Dhabi Mall is super convenient, and the gym itself is spacious, clean, and well-equipped with modern machines, free weights, and functional training zones. The staff are friendly, professional, and always ready to help—especially the personal trainers who are knowledgeable and motivating. The group classes like BodyPump, cycling, and yoga are excellent and offer great variety to keep workouts exciting. The locker rooms are clean and the overall environment is energetic and welcoming. Plus, having the mall right there makes it easy to grab a healthy snack or run errands after your workout. ✅ Highlights: • Top-quality equipment & facilities ️‍♀️ • Excellent personal trainers & group classes • Convenient location inside Abu Dhabi Mall ️ • Clean, professional, and friendly atmosphere Highly recommended for anyone serious about fitness or looking for a supportive gym community in the heart of Abu Dhabi.

⭐ 1 Star – Worst Gym Experience Ever (Fitness First Abu Dhabi) My experience at Fitness First Abu Dhabi has been extremely disappointing and honestly one of the worst gym experiences I have ever had. From the beginning, the environment felt toxic, unwelcoming, and humiliating, especially after they had already taken the full membership payment. At the time of joining, everything was explained in a very friendly and positive way. No strict rules, no strange conditions, no mention of unnecessary paperwork. However, once the payment was taken, the attitude of the staff and trainers changed completely. The behaviour became rude, and unprofessional, which clearly shows how little they value members after receiving money. One trainer in particular, Khuver, displayed an extremely disrespectful attitude. His way of talking was inappropriate and made me feel uncomfortable . A gym trainer is supposed to motivate, support, and guide members—not talk down to them or behave in a humiliating manner. Such behaviour is completely unacceptable in any professional fitness environment. Another shocking issue was when I tried to help my own partner during training, and the staff suddenly demanded "papers" to be provided. This was never mentioned during the membership sign-up. What kind of rule is this? No clear explanation, no written policy shown—just random enforcement when it suits them. This feels more like harassment than gym management. Instead of creating a supportive and inclusive fitness space, the staff made me feel embarrassed, disrespected, and mentally stressed. A gym should be a place where people feel safe, encouraged, and confident—not judged or controlled with unreasonable rules.

Unprofessional Experience – scammers! Very disappointing They took my money and created my membership using a Fazaa, fully knowing that the card was not valid for the full membership period. Everything was accepted at the beginning, and my account was created without any issue. Later on, after payment and activation, I was suddenly told that I cannot access the gym because my Fazaa card is expired and that I must provide a renewed one This makes absolutely no sense. If a valid Fazaa card for the full period was a requirement, why was it accepted from the beginning? Why taking my money first and only later "remember the rules"? It honestly feels like all they care about is taking the money, not transparency or customer experience. This is unprofessional, frustrating, and unacceptable. I am extremely disappointed and would not recommend this gym based on how this issue was handled because they said we cannot do anything let’s investigate and take our time why this was done…scammers!!..

Great facilities — clean, well-maintained, and equipped with everything you need for a good workout. I had taken Personal training sessions with Ms. RAHAB at the Fitness first, Abudhabi Mall. Training with Ms. Rahab has been a wonderful experience! She’s incredibly motivating, supportive, and always pushes me to give my best. Thanks to her encouragement, I’ve seen real progress and gained confidence in my fitness journey. Definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a great personal trainer!
