Deeply Disappointed With the Experience – Sharing For Future Parents As a first-time mom, enrolling my daughter into school for the very first time was an emotional and overwhelming step. I trusted Glendale International School with my child during her first months in education, hoping for support, guidance, and a safe, nurturing transition. Unfortunately, my experience during those three months was far from what I was promised and what I expected as a new parent. During admissions, I was reassured with information that later proved inaccurate. I was told the school offered French classes, Islamic studies, and daily morning yoga. None of these offerings were actually implemented once my daughter started. As a first-time school parent, I relied on this information to make a decision, and it was extremely disappointing to find out it wasn’t true. Transportation was another major issue. I paid the bus fees in advance, yet my daughter was not added to the bus list for almost a week. This was stressful and completely unexpected, especially at a time when I was already trying to balance work and the emotional weight of sending my daughter to school for the first time. Uniform delays continued for months. Despite paying from the beginning of September, my daughter’s hoodie did not arrive until late November. She was going to school in the cold without the proper uniform simply because the school did not provide what we had purchased. Communication during these three months was consistently weak. Messages went unanswered for long periods, and even simple requests such as informing them about travel required repeated follow-ups. As a new parent, already anxious and trying to do everything correctly, this lack of clarity made the experience even more stressful. One moment that truly shocked me was seeing small children standing in a queue outside while staff wrote "late slips." As someone with a background in child psychology, I knew how discouraging and unnecessary this is for young children. When I raised this concern during a visit, hoping for understanding, I was instead met with dismissive and unprofessional behavior. A staff member spoke to me in a harsh tone while I was waiting for a scheduled meeting. When I finally met with the principal to discuss concerns, I was unexpectedly told that I had been "rude," despite simply asking to be spoken to professionally. As a worried first-time parent seeking clarity, this response was extremely hurtful and left me feeling unheard and disrespected. My daughter comes back with broken things, and her full bottle of water as well as lack of proper hygiene!!!!! FS2!!!!! Even though my daughter attended for only three months, the repeated issues—broken promises, lack of communication, delays, and the dismissive handling of concerns—made the experience incredibly disappointing. This review reflects my personal experience as a first-time mom who expected transparency, professionalism, and child-centered care. I hope it helps other parents make informed decisions, and I truly hope the school addresses these concerns for future families.

Very bad I have been here for the second year put they can’t even fix simple stuff like get good teachers with actual British accent?THE BUS literally left without use for the 2ed time and they do not care me and my sis saw the bus leaving and just without any warning LIKE WHAT Do you mean ? And an office painting things for the price we pay for a year I think it is a bit too much for school like this some cracks everywhere like our snack break is literally just 15 minutes and lunch is like 40 but they take us late and bring us back early in my opinion they’re not fixing anything and the buses are nearly like almost always late. The school starts at 7:30 but we if you even arrive early we have to wait for the gate to open and takes like 15 or 10 minutes so the buses are mostly late . Here’s another one OK so for example, I have a friend she has a little bit of I don’t know autism or ADHD or something. She doesn’t have the full thing. I don’t really know what she has like. Everyone bullies her like and it’s because she doesn’t have a nanny to support her. Maybe she doesn’t want to be with her nanny and that costs like 5000 or something. I don’t know. So yea I have a lot more, but I think it will be unreadable and too long. Thank you.

Very calm and nice courts for badminton enthusiastic people .well maintained courts and cheap price.only drawback is humidity and non ac u may get dehydrated within few minutes.

Iam currently studying here right now,I love the school as Year 6,The school is really hygienic and clean,It is very organized and calm and very safe The learning also is top tier I have learnt a lot about math English French etc.PE is also amazing thanks to Mr.Nihad.The school keeps it fun and has a lot of activities,Best wishes to all staff members working hard for the best experience for all students.I recommend going to this school every time.Downside is that I live far away but didn’t start at August 25 because of transport it took about a week and first day on September 1,Though it wasn’t a big problem as I had more time to prep for learning.The teacher (my current class teacher) Mr Haris is very kind and funny and gives lots learning to class,the school provides classes I have never attended and I am very happy to see these classes for the first time,Overall I love the school and I hope parents found this helpful and Hopefully your child will come to Glendale international school Dubai.

It is a very good school with a fantastic and helping team. They are able to let you like the school from day one, especially Mr.Badr and his way of support, at the early stage of admission. Feel safe for my kids to be there and trust their way of working.

My daughter loves going to school and to take part in all of their innovative projects. She was the part of the Science Exhibition that Glendale International school conducted during the Science week. As parents, we are very happy that our daughter has an active interest in such things, so thanks to her school and the lovely teachers there.
